We’re excited that multiple BlueVoyant experts have earned awards from Microsoft Security for their knowledge and engagement in the cybersecurity community
BlueVoyant knows the best experts give back to the Microsoft security community. We honor our Microsoft experts within our company for helping improve Microsoft products so that our clients can maximize their investment in Microsoft Security. Product feedback helps clients stay ahead of threats because we have to innovate at the speed of the attackers.
To that end, we are honored that for their contributions to the Microsoft Security Community and expertise, Manuel Hauch, sales engineer, Ryan Sturm, Microsoft 365 delivery manager, and John Wagner, a senior Microsoft 365 engineer have been awarded the Microsoft 365 Defender Rockstar Badge. To earn the badge, they had to participate in several design sessions, surveys, and roadmap calls with the Microsoft product group. Microsoft 365 Defender is a cloud-powered defense platform that includes Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Defender for Identity.
“Witnessing the enormous development going into the Microsoft security stack has been truly rewarding,” said Hauch. “I appreciate the recognition from Microsoft and will continue to work to support the Microsoft community and our clients as they work to stop increasingly sophisticated attacks.”
Of the award, Sturm said, “I do my best to drive improvement for our customers and keep my team armed with as much knowledge as possible to continue to be the go-to partner for Microsoft Security. I am honored that Microsoft recognized my contributions and will continue to support innovations to help our joint clients stay one step ahead of cyber criminals.”
“I am excited that Microsoft has recognized my work that not only helps customers implement and maximize their Microsoft Security solutions, but that also assists with product enhancements and training,” said Wagner. “By working with Microsoft, I can ensure our clients have cutting-edge cybersecurity to defend against the latest attacks.”
Showing that BlueVoyant’s expertise expands to the whole Microsoft Security suite, Mona Ghadiri, senior director of product management and Hauch both earned the Cloud Security Rockstar Team badge as well. The award honors those who have already won recognition in the Microsoft cloud security community and have gone beyond that to support product development and mastery.
“Microsoft Security’s use of cloud technology continues to evolve with new features and functionality that practitioners need to defend against the latest threats,” Ghadiri said. “I am honored by the continued recognition from Microsoft. Cybersecurity is a team sport and everyone is better defended when we work together.” Ghadiri was named a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) earlier this year.
These badges are the latest in an extensive list of recent accolades Microsoft has awarded BlueVoyant for the strength of its Microsoft offerings and support. BlueVoyant is both the 2023 and 2022 Microsoft U.S. Security Partner of the Year. In April, the company was named the Security MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) of the Year in the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards 2023. In 2022, BlueVoyant achieved Microsoft verified Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) solution status and was one of Microsoft’s top 150 managed security partners. In 2021, BlueVoyant was named a Microsoft Security 20/20 Partner Awards Winner for the Top MDR Team.
